Let me begin by saying that I am just as guilty as anyone else in this respect, so I am preaching to myself as well.

We have some excellent educators here at White Oak, and I thoroughly enjoy going to blog sites and reading what they have to say about any topic. I subscribe to only a couple of blogs right now, but nevertheless, I jump at the chance to read the new posts when I receive email notifications.

We who read the postings of others should really take the time to Say Something. That box marked “comment” is there for a reason. Comments give feedback, and feedback results in more postings being submitted. We as teachers should know that. Students perform better when they receive feedback. We need to give our co-workers the same respect.

Time, thought, planning in many cases, go into making Blog postings, podcasting, website updatings, etc.

If you enjoy something, or even if you don’t, your voice needs to be heard. So in the words of John Lennon, “Let it Be”.

Go on….Say Something.
