You will not find the teachers at White Oak Intermediate sleeping in! We are eager to get to know our students and nurture the seeds of knowledge that are to be planted and cultivated this year. Already teachers have made big plans for this year. Fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Ganong, is linking resources to her blog making plans for entering an online video contest on education. Fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Carrington, has started a class blog, Bright Spots, and registered to participate in Miss Wyatts Blog Challenge 09. Third grade teacher, Mrs. Hall, has posted the words that her class will grow by during this school year. ALL of this and it has only been three days!! Hold on tightly because this is going to be a great year.
Isn’t it wonderful? What a great privilege to be in a school with teachers who teach because they love to see students learn! It IS going to be a GREAT year!
I agree. I watched as the students were captivated by their teachers who brought them into the wonderful world of books. Just imagine what will happen as the books come alive when the students blog about their adventures.
